Nottingham Trent University Publishes Evaluation of Our ‘Steps to Freedom’ Survivor Recovery Programme
We are delighted to share the Nottingham Trent University (NTU) evaluation report and accompanying expert blog highlighting the impact of our new Steps to Freedom survivor recovery programme.
Developed in partnership with survivors and trauma-informed practitioners, Steps to Freedom is designed to support women in rebuilding confidence, safety, and independence after experiences of domestic abuse. The programme focuses on emotional recovery, empowerment, and developing tools for long-term wellbeing.
Following a successful pilot, we are now delivering the programme with our second cohort of beneficiaries, continuing to gather valuable insights from participants. Plans are also underway to collaborate with partner organisations across the region through our upcoming Train the Trainer initiative, ensuring that even more beneficiaries can benefit from the programme’s approach.
